Private Medical Insurance

It is our understanding that you will be self funding for your consultations. Should you intend to claim through your private medical insurer*, please note that we shall kindly still request that you self pay on the day of your consultation. An invoice/receipt will then be issued so that you can claim back from your insurer any reimbursement due.

“The Pain Physio” is happy to accept* the following medical insurers: Cigna, Bupa International, The Exeter, WPA.

Unfortunately, due to  regular invoice settlement issues, “The Pain Physio” has decided to no longer accept the following medical insurers:  AXA-PPP, Bupa Wellness (UK), Vitality, Aviva, Pru-Health and Simply Health.

* If claiming through your private medical insurer, you MUST have a valid claim or authorisation number from them prior to any consultation with us. We also strongly recommend that you check with your insurance provider their terms and conditions with regards to the extent of your physiotherapy cover with us BEFORE any consultations. “The Pain Physio” cannot guarantee that your medical insurer will cover your consultation fees with us and will not accept any liability or responsibility whatsoever for any payment shortfall or non-payment of invoices by your medical insurer.
